Fraud Alert

Fraud AlertThe EEFCU, as well as other credit unions, have noticed a upswing in card fraud. Please be diligent in checking your accounts for inaccurate charges. The EEFCU’s Fraud Department will notify you by call or text if they notice charges that seem fraudulent. They will ask you to reply Yes or No to the charge. They will NOT request additional information from you. Do Not give them your account number, social security number or any other personal information! If in doubt hang up and contact us or the number on the back of your EEFCU Visa Debit Card. If you reply that the charge  is fraud, they will block your card and you need to notify the EEFCU to re-order a card for you. EEFCU encourages our members to use the Card Valet App to assist you in keeping track of your card use. For additional information on CardValet and how to download, see our CardValet webpage.
