We have appreciated their years of service to the community in keeping us current on all the news and events that impact our daily lives. The sale of the Register-Guard Media Company has no operational or financial impact on the ongoing business of serving the members of the Register Guard Federal Credit Union or the financial strength and well-being of the EEFCU. We are not affiliated with or part of the business operations and decisions of RG Media Company.
Over 65 years ago, employees of the Register Guard newspaper founded the Emerald Empire Federal Credit Union to serve the financial needs of the employees and their families of the newspaper. Since those early years, the EEFCU have grown financially to $22 million in assets with a diversified field of membership and a broad range of services. We are a financial cooperative owned by our members and are and will continue to be a thriving local financial institution.
